A publication of “It’s a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life for me. And I’m feeling good.” - as sung by Nina Simone. As the calendar rolls over to a new year, it’s a universal milestone—a natural moment in time for reflection and planning. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our successes and failures, learn from them both, and bring the best pieces along for our journey into the future. Let’s not forget that every day of our lives is like a mini-New Year’s Eve. There may not be a champagne toast or confetti, but after we go to bed each night, we are greeted in the morning with a fresh start—the opportunity to begin again. To pursue our dreams. To change. To grow. To appreciate the good things. As I pause and reflect on 2021, CLM accomplished so much in a year filled with many challenges and changes. The team has worked hard to provide our community great value, and we will build on that by continuously evaluating and evolving how we best serve you. FRONT DESK I believe we are set up for success and ready to deliver on this promise. We recently finalized our 2022 strategic plan, which I will share with you shortly. And we’ve already taken some key foundational steps to optimize our operational function, starting with an internal reorganization, hiring of new key roles, and improving our use of data and analytics to enable us to serve you in a new and changing world. You will see the result of all these efforts in the form of enhanced member experiences, new programs, and innovation. I am honored and grateful to have joined such an amazing organization and passionate community. And I am excited to begin a new journey around the sun with you. Remember, this year comes with 365 new beginnings, so make the most of each and every one—I know I will! Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2022.
